I honestly haven't bought a game brand new in... a long time. I can't even remember what I bought new last. Mass Effect 2? That's probably it. Really all software, regardless of what the starting price is, eventually gets down to $15-$20 used, usually within 4 months of release, and that's when I buy it. Except for the Wii. Ironically it's turned out to be the most expensive console I own, cause the games cost a fortune and never drop in price.

I have no intention of paying extra for the 3G version, unless that one also has larger onboard memory. 3G is useless to me. It's just used for the web-browsing and such, and I can do that much easier and more portably on my Android. 

Well 3G would be good for online games on the go.

I don't know why they didn't just go and put 4G in it though.

$300 at most. Though looking at the specs it seems like the price will be $350, but that would be suicidal.

Tops would be $300. I understand that it's suppose to be an incredibly powerful system and it looks good, but I see no reason why the NGP has to cost more then the PlayStation 3, a very powerful console. Handhelds are suppose to be affordable and anything that goes above $400 is just ridiculous.

For now, I'm leaning toward the 3DS, but I'll wait to see if the NGP system is worth getting or not.

OMG americans are so cheap, this is not ment as a diss but it just opens my eyes how cheap your cost of living must be. For example

USA PS3 = 299 USD

UK PS3 = 397.277 USD which is 250 pounds

People who are saying they will only get it at 200 USD  just shock me.

200 USD = 125.00 GBP

The current DS and PSP models are not even that cheap. The only gaming device selling for less than that here in the UK  is the PS2

I want to have remote access to my PS3 anywhere, multiplayer is a bonus. The wi-fi remote access is not really convenient, but through 3G it would.
