ah..well,360 is 220k

This is the one that puzzles me about EMEAA. In australia at least the Kinects that we have sold (to a large extent) have been Xbox360 sales... I don't know why the same isn't happening the rest, seems to be happening in the US as well. 

Maybe that is the advertising, though in australia foxtel (paytv) is possible with the xbox360 without being locked to a contract so they may have something to do with it as well. 

yeah right,maybe VGC overtracked but they should at least wait the report

meh MS said over 50m and i dont think they only shipped around 5.5m since US sold 3.555m 360 in last 3 months

I will try to choose my words carefully here..

We always see massive adjustments this time of year due to the large amounts of consoles sold. I appreciate what VGChartz does since for most of the year the adjustments are less noticable, and it is still a great free service.

But,

Every week the numbers come out traditionally and we talk and debate small facts about price drops, sku variations and stock shortages etc all to explain what we take as gospel (the numbers) all to discuss a difference of 50-100k between the HD consoles for example.

Then a 1.8 million adjustment in 360 numbers. 1.8 million. This is just the same criteria that we discuss every day but literally x50 in amount.

This 1.8 million adjustment, and all of the adjustments for that matter shouldnt be ignored but discussed. We shouldnt be afraid to ask wtf? right?

1.8 million. Adjustments were similar the past 2 years post holidays if I remember correctly.

These adjustments invalidate so many thread topics and factual data used for arguments around here, and I think we should acknowledge that.

Yet again, I am happy these adjustments are made and no site provides better numbers imo, but the truth still remains.

I agree with you, I think they would have shipped more, but they having shortages (according to nelsons twitter) so i dont know how much more

LBP2 did alright. Should sell double that amount in America though (unless preorders have mislead us again).

how can you have shortages for one country? I doubt xboxs in australia are more or less no different to english in the same way as canadian or mexican or american should be no different bar mostly language. A quick tweak could stop their shortages I would assume

because nelson tweet about shortages before NPD data out in few hours
