The NGP is gonna have the advantage because of 1 single reason:

- The 3DS is an incomplete, defective console.

Think about it. The 3D screen is bigger than the touch screen?... and the touch screen is the same shitty one the DS has had all these years.

The 3DS won't have the eShop and Web Browser features until May (for Japan). WHat does it mean? It's incomplete. Nintendo is rushing into releasing it. 

oh, and the launch titles are pure CRAP.

Final Fantasy

becoming multiplat (just as every single HD game gets PC/PS3/Xbox360 ports this gen) what will make the difference are the first/second party (exclusive) games. Unfortunately, Sony haven't had a single first/second game capable to sell 5 million in the PSP. However Nintendo have had many of its first/second party games selling more than 5 million and even some crossing 20 million, so it's pretty clear that in a multiplat market, without new franchises, Sony will not be able to win the next generation (probably by far) as well.

We Don't Know Whos Ganna Be Cheaper Yet, Though You're Probadly Going To Be Right.

PSP2 Showed Of A Straight Up Version Of Metal Gear Solid 4(Nominated For Game Of The Year 2008) & A Similar Uncharted To Uncharted 2(Game Of The Year 2009, By The Way), That's Something.  The PSP2 Has A Strong Line Up Though Small It'll Increase When It's About To Launch.

Just Because A Previous Console Destroyed The Last Gen Does Not Mean It's Going To Repeat.

The DS Had Best Selers Beacause It Was More Bang For The Buck, That's Why Everyone Got It And That's Why The DS Has More Best Sellers But Now We Just Got To Wait To See Sells More To Find Out The New Best Sellers.

Ah, a fresh new console war to speculate on. That's always fun..

3DS should win, but it'll be a closer battle than most people realize. Nintendo seems to be taking a similar route that Sony is taking this gen (appealing more to core gamers, emphasising horsepower, and cinematic values) and thus will recieve similar sales. What will ultimately put Nintendo over the top will be the superior third party support, the power of 2D Mario, and the advantage of 3D, which could lure some techies.

I find it ironic that it will be Nintendo, not Sony, that will posess the 3D gaming device, as well as the one that looks to have the better third party support.

mmmmh....win 3ds because this console offer the 3d vision....

Its to early to judge by how much 3DS will beat NGP. However I think it is a safe bet that Nintendo will win this generation of handhelds. Even if the NGP is 250$ at launch it still will not see sales high enough to dethrone Nintendo. Sony;s best shot at dethroning Nintendo was the first PSP with its failure this new console doesn't stand a chance.

NGP has a few exclusive features that may help it sell better. Also with less piracy software sales should be boosted from what they were like on the PSP. However fact remains Nintendo will dominate this new generation.
