Ah, a fresh new console war to speculate on. That's always fun..
3DS should win, but it'll be a closer battle than most people realize. Nintendo seems to be taking a similar route that Sony is taking this gen (appealing more to core gamers, emphasising horsepower, and cinematic values) and thus will recieve similar sales. What will ultimately put Nintendo over the top will be the superior third party support, the power of 2D Mario, and the advantage of 3D, which could lure some techies.
I find it ironic that it will be Nintendo, not Sony, that will posess the 3D gaming device, as well as the one that looks to have the better third party support.
