Exactly. Also; bigger device = bigger screen which is win imo. Handhelds and smartphones are hardly and handy anyways. Besides, if people buy iPad's, I can't fathom how this would seem large... 
Not that I'll be getting one, I'm no fan of handheld gaming as everyone knows.

Firstly... It's not that much bigger than the PSP we already have. So like 70 Million people wont care there for a start.
Secondly... iPad.
I just measured my "Kid's Gear" (=Game Gear for Kids) and it's about 21cm x 11cm x 4.5cm!
Compared to this NGP is small!

That's funny, because that's why I got the PSP GO. It fit into my jeans pockey perfectly.

It's slightly longer than the DSiXL but thinner.
IMO, the DSiXL is cross the line of being shirt pocket portable. It barely fits in the shirt pocket.
It goes in my coat pocket currently and will probably be going in my bag summertime.
