Brown wasteland again, pretty brown but still brown. Maybe the graphic artists shouldn't walk around with sunglasses on all the time. There's color outside even in the desert and scrap yards.

No I dont have a problem with grey and bwrown colors. A lot of games have made realistic depressing colors in a great way, like STALKER and many more. But there's something about the color tone in Rage. It's like brown but a bright unnatural brown.

So it's neither realistic or beautiful.

Well the world certainly doesn't try to portray complete realism. Maybe they are trying to create a world that is depressing brown and gray, but still is built out of fantasy without to much realism.

I was going to say, those are obivously PC screens.

 

So I'm gonna assume that this won't run on my amd486 with VGA graphics and 8MB RAM? Shame on you id. Doom ran on less than that.

Nah, both consoles should be able to handle what's there. As I said, it looks a little doctored, but not out of reach of the HD consoles' capabilities.

It's the PC version though.

I have no idea where the hype for this game originated, will need to catch up to see whether it's the sort of game I'd be hyped for :P. Those screens seem quite reminiscent of Borderlands to me personally.

It's the PC version though.

Top screens in OP are either 850x533 or 746x467.

Not sure where you got your res from and even then, we've seen console games streamed through resolutions higher than 1080 in screens.

I even went to the site itself, (PS3trophies.org) the screens are: 746x467. It's a PS3 site no less (not Rage.com).
