I'd agree with you here. 

However, as we ALL know, the holiday boost for Wii is amazing, so if it can stay in touch with the PS3 (which it should) it could win. Coupled with Vitality sensor, big game releases and a price cut, and I think Wii could be on top!

You just told me it didn't exist/it wouldn't be big...LOL

You asked me why I think Nintendo has something big in 2011 and now you say Wii could win? I am confused...?

I never denied Nintendo wouldn't win, nor did I say it didn't have anything big. It's just it sounded as though you knew some information which I didn't or something...

It seems like everyone is just saying it will be huge bacause Nintendo is making it. Guess what Wii music was Nintendo game too.

I belive they burried this project deep below ground and will try to pretend it never existed.

 

They have two big things for this year that can boost sales - Zelda and DQX (if it releases in 2011 which would be against square policy of spacing major titles and they already have XIII-2 for consoles and Type-o for portables)

I don't think Vitality Sensor is dead at all and IMO it will be shown with games during Iwata's GDC conference. I also believe it will be released in September at the latest and not during the Holiday period. Also, if it is dead Nintendo will likely have something else new to replace it...they haven't been doing nothing since Motion Plus was released.

Finally,(this question is directed at everyone) Why will Wii sales in Japan depend on Zelda? Zelda is decently big there but its not a big system pusher there like as with America right?(I could be wrong)

As others have said, the key game is DQX, and maybe TLS for Q1. If they come out/do well, then they'll win

I really am not so certain FF13-2 will be so amazing, lots of disappointed FF fans with 13. I remain guarded there. Of course, the last FF game *I* enjoyed was 6 lol

True. I was one of those many who were disappointed by FF13, but it doesn't mean it won't sell well, which I believe was the point of the article

I think the PS3 will outsell the Wii, unless any of those is done:

1- Motiom plus games announced in E3 deal a great impact.

2-Vitality sensor actually exists and turns out to be a great sucess.

3- Price cut for the Wii, but not for the PS3.

4- NSMB Wii 2 is released this year.



Above: still the best game of the year.
