The ps3 and xbox 360 have a much bigger library than just shooters. Im assuming your a wii fanboy, if you want to talk about bad influence look at the wii and its MANHUNT game.

They've anhilated selling less than half as many consoles as the 360!! The destruction was total!!

I want to wait until February-ish to declare anything, but it's looking extremely likely that the PS3 has established a firm foothold in Europe now.

It's only been about 6 weeks that it's had a strong presence (that is, since the price drop), but it happens to be 6 weeks that are essential to yearly sales. 

PS3 selling 257,000 consoles in the Others region, i think that is quite impressive :D

I wonder if the release of Uncharted had anything to do with this, as the ad's have been on quite regularly here in the UK, and it also jumped into No. 7 in the charts after only 2 days sales! No small feat!

Yeah Im damn estatic! I did not expect that, but damn WHAT A RUSH!

Looks like Sony's marketing is paying off :).

It would be fun if ioi adjusted the numbers so the 360 and PS3 switched places :D

Will this be the first time in console gaming where Europe and the rest, aside from NA and Japan, will determine a console's survival?

I think we'll see continued growth in Europe for the ps3....it's like a freight train...now that it's moving, it'll be hard to stop. I expect the ps3 to keep performing poorly in the US until something major like MGS4 or something is released.

Anyhow, all the consoles did great in Europe...nice to see.
