Amazon's preorder and sales numbers are like Famitsu's reviews and mosts wanted lists. They never have anything to do with the rest of reality.

Saying otherwise is just plain crazzy.

Small sample sizes can be very accurate if great care is taken in using a representative sample. Amazon is not a representative sample. This is why baby seals will die from your post.

Have you preordered it? No? The people preordering so early are really hardcore and propably quite healthy economicaly to do so. Thus, most of them are PS3 owners since its the most expensive system.

Well i would have expected PS3 and 360 to be very similar on Amazon pre-order... so this is slightly in PS3s favour.

But then does that really mean anything?

Crazzy, why not goto an actual store and check what THEY say before posting Amazon sales? Last time I checked, Xbox 360 titles on Amazon.jp were outselling most Wii and PS3 titles.

Oh wait, Amazon is the most useless sales barometer in the entire world.

Actually, PS3 domination starts when SDF has enough converts to converge on Wal-Marts to tell folks this holiday how horrible the Xbot 360 and HD DVD is - and sing the praises of PS3 and Blu Ray. Hallejulah!

Cool, the PS3 GTA IV preorders are leading the way. Maybe that's because 360 owners are too busy playing Mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo 3 and other games from a devastating lineup to even think about getting GTA IV. I know I haven't given it a second thought after I saw the trailer.
