I'll try and make it, I just hope we are not the only ones.

Had some good games this week with Rainbow Yoshi, anyone looking to play at 5PM Sunday? It'll be my usual meeting, as well as Tuesday 7PM GMT if you're interested

Is it a general requirement that one should finish the Level 2 quests before attempting online play? I heard that somewhere. I haven't tried Wi-Fi for that very reason. I'm working on Level 2 quests now, but I have a little brother and can't play MH around him :)

No, not really. However, it would be advised, so you get the feel of the game.

But there's absolutely nothing stopping you from jumping straight in from the get-go

I see. Well, I'll finish those quests before I post my info, I guess. Plus, MH3 is the first game I've played that involves real-time combat that doesn't involve button mashing, so I don't think that I'm too good at it yet. I don't want to drag anyone down. :)

That's quite alright! I look forward to seeing you online soon!

If you let people know you are new, and they want to help you to learn the game, you can not drag anyone down. There are many people here who can join you in the early quests to help you get going. I am still a low rank player and enjoy helping newer players get going. Do you have WiiSpeak or a USB keyboard? That makes it easier to work together.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, always assume you have the upper hand.
