I know, but it is soooooo frustrating when you break 3 out of 4 claws and accomplish both sub-quests for the fourth time in a row, and no Claw + from craving or from rewards. But for now, I am doing some Deviljho quests that are more satisfying. I love kicking his big sorry ass .....with the help of 3 other high rank hunters of course. I would never try to do it alone. At least not quite yet.

I tried it three times alone. However I never killed him fast enough and always run out of time. But I was able to kill him together with one friend. Right now I feel it's more challenging and more fun to kill monsters alone or with just one comrade. I made many solo-barioth-runs last week and it always feeled satisfying to beat him. (Even if it usually took 20 to 30 minutes.) I also made the double barioth quest (HR51) with one random player. This was hard work, especially because the other player didn't knew my strategy. However we managed to capture both.

I definitely need a few more upgrades to my armour before I can go after the Deviljho on my own hentai_11. But finding those last few items/parts are taking way too long for my liking. The most satisfying hunts for me are with one other player using WiiSpeak. Much easier to coordinate strategy and help each other out. Having said that, it will be very satisfying to take down a Deviljho all by myself eventually.

You are right. Preperations are important. I started to try Deviljho after I fully upraded my armor.
When I am tired of hunting a special monster I usually start to help other players. And sometimes I even get rewards. Last week I was tired to hunt giggi for his talon plus, so I helped some ppl to kill normal jhen 2 times. And I got an earth dragon gem both times.

MH3 is the only game I've been playing lately, I only bought one Wii game this year and won't be buying anything until Skyward Sword comes out. I bought DKCR in March. DKCR is a great game btw.
