I never really understand why there's peaks of activity and then...nothing.

Well, I'm now HR51, Rowan's now HR9, and Samuel's now HR 15 as well. That's the EU hunting group for the majority of the time. Sometimes Cobra comes along (HR64) to play and help me out bringing up the low rankers. 

At any rate, I enjoy playing this game, however, I long for the time when we get to do DIFFICULT quests.

I know that I've said this like 3 times now, but I will definitely post my info soon. I got a set playing schedule now (10PM-11PM EST every weekday, till' midnight on weekends), so that should help. It's sorta' late, so maybe only people on the West Coast would play?

I'm on the 4-star offline missions now, and I expect to have them all finished by Thursday or so. Oh, and I'm fairly proficient with SnS, GS, and I'm planning on using LS, too. Spring break for my school is March 24th-April 3rd, so I'll probably be able to get in online then.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it, have you tried the SwitchAxe? If not I'd reccomend it, it's one of the best weapons in the games IMO

I haven't tried to use the Switch Axe yet. I figured that I'd better wait until I can craft a good one (now that I'm in the Tundra, I should be able to). It looks like it might be a little unwieldy (that's why I wanted to stick with SnS, GS, and LS), but it looks cool.

It is when you start off, but it easily becomes the best weapon in the game IMO.

Oh, try to start with the Iron Axe, the first one you get...I'd turn it into the Volt Axe if I were you

Hey Flashpoint! If you need someone for online play, I can meet up with you on Friday night between 10pm-11pm. What is your HR and other details? Since you seem to be trying many different weapons, I would recommend that you try a Lance. The Lance and the SwitchAxe are my favourite weapons, but between the two, I feel the Lance is the best. It is difficult to get used to it at first, but once you get used to it, man can it be good.

Uhhh... I'll have to look. My HR is Level 1, since I've only done one mission online (I was too confused about how online works). Lances look good, and they're mostly defensive, which is nice. I should try them.

I've mostly been too apprehensive to jump in online because I feel like I'm too inexperienced and slow.

I'll post my info tomorrow. I'm fairly sure that Friday will work. I'll try to confirm before then (don't want to leave you hanging). Thanks for offering to help! :)

Do you have WiiSpeak or a USB keyboard? That will make it much easier to communicate so you can ask questions about anything you are unsure of. I am no expert, but I know the basics well enough.
