I hope Wii, it will take a while before I purchase a 3DS.

Uh if he was trolling you were too, so I'd be careful with throwing around labels like that, and I think his point was to mock you FYI

i doubt that, Mario Kart is not an arcade racer, its closer to a party game. Burnout Paradise/ Ridge Racer, NFS, Midnigh Club are arcade racers, and Mario Kart is not.
I don't like the game at all.
But i respect its sales. Wasn't expecting that goog honestly.

You can say that about every game.
GT5 is not a game, its a car expositor and you can try the cars.

I figured Kyliedog would try to fire back with this before someone else did but here goes.
1 I implore you to show me how Mario Kart does not fit the definition of arcade racer, 2 I ask you to tell me how it lacks any modes and content you'd find in an arcardey racer (since the series has tracks, cars, and characters to unlock, non realistic driving physics that keeps it from being a sim, and online with leader boards and challenges) and finally 3 Racing Party Game is not a genre, it does not exist...
Thank you

It's a common mistake to think that a multiplayer game with mushrooms, bananas, apes, princesses, bikes, turtle shells, ghosts, mutant dinosaurs and babies is a party game.
Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

I find it hard to believe that publishers would be oblivious to the fact that the average quality of a third party PSP racing game was notably higher than their Wii counterparts. If you are going to make an SD version of a HD game, you might as well release it on the Wii as a straight port from the PSP version. oniyide makes the point that these PSP versions of HD games are mediocre, but then again, when has it ever been an issue for third parties to release games of questionable quality for the Wii? There is no technological logic behind this. The very same third parties had no problem to quickly port PS2 games to the Wii early on. It really doesn't take a lot of effort to port between PS2/PSP/Wii and out of these three systems, as time passed by, the Wii easily became the platform with the highest potential for sales. Once again, if you go through the trouble to make an SD version of a HD game, you might as well make it available on all viable platforms (and the Wii is more viable than the PSP). |
OHH OHHH I ARE HAZ A THERORIEZ!!! "again I can't believe no one thought of this"
well there's your problem my friend, maybe developers weren't thinking about making and SD version of thier game, but rather a ....ummm....por-ta-ble one...maybe. Developers say, now that we have the definitive home console version of our game, lets make a protable one.
No developer says lets make a standard def version of thier game, becasue that will always be a down grade and no developer wants a downgrade, which is why most 3rd parties don't make games for wii.........and ps3/360. Either it's wii only or HD only for obvious reasons with obvious exceptions.
make sense to me lol
Advertising > Brand Recognition > Wii Userbase
in this order
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

You'll need a link to a credible source for everything you just said, otherwise I have no other choice than to believe that you are just making stuff up. |
lmao ok ok I'll bite,
the wii is as powerfull and can do everything the ps3 and 360 can do, developers don't want a verion of their game in both the handheld and home console market, they just want a high quality and low quality version, and don't make wii versions because they are evil and just wantz it to failzzzz. Your right that does make more sense
because logic is not acceptable around here????
