I haven't even finish the first one, stuck at 40 hours of gameplay. I didn't love it, but I enjoy the game as linear as it is.

God I hope so!,  I loved FFXIII and It would mean a much sooner release date than a full blown new numbered FF too

I just wonder what will happen about Vanille and Fang. I hope they are not absent for the whole story (like tidus was in X-2)

personally I've always liked only having 3 in the party, makes it a bit more difficult and more enjoyable overall, but thats just my opinion of course. Rumour has it that 13-2 will be set on the open world of pulse so I doubt they could re use many of the settings (except for chapter 11 of course). I would expect a lot of new scenery.

It would be a great announcement.

Ugh....direct sequel to the worst FF game ever. Well at least it can't get any worse than FFXIII....can it?

A final fantasy release is always good news. FF13 was good, if its on the same level of quality Ill take that anytime. Surely, a bit more exploration and more diverse side quest would be appreciated. The only thing I really dont want is co-op... :P co-op is good for games like secret of mana not like final fantasy.
