Certainly there is a chance- if they can undercut the 3ds on price. And since it will likely be 250 in the west I don't see that happening.

While you actually have valid points, much better in the op, wouldn't you argue that sony telling consumers 3D is bad for you.....a horrible move, since sony has 3D products. 

Added Note: The warning that nintendo gives, is based on the fact of 3D products, not their 3D products.

I'm not saying Sony has to inform consumers of this flaw, but this information should be on the box of every 3DS - like when you buy cigerattes. but i didnt think of that when i posted actully, so yes it would be dumb, because they're also trying to sell 3D products.

i'm still not sure about 3D, because people can go to see a film like Avatar for 2 hours 30 mins, so i think these concerns might be unforunded. however there could be long term damage to eyes, like say over 1 year, that you would occur over prolonged use.

either way, theres nothing i think they can do tbh, 3DS is going to be huge, and it has enormous 3rd party support. i have no idea what the PSP2 could do against that. unless it has 3D as well. and is cheaper at the same time.


I agree with your statement, the problem really is, sony tries to be in the middle of nintendo and apple, in the handheld market. Apple area is all covered, and nintendo is a really tough cookie. I think they should find a strong niche, and stick with it. Nothing wrong about being 2nd place and still be profitable. 

Honestly speaking I wonder why nintendo made the 30 minute warning, I guess it is like those warnings stand back from the screen, or warnings that can be found on the first page of every manual of every game.

Well you do not seem to know that you can turn off the 3D if you want so there is no problem in letting young ones play it.

The battery life they have here is when the system is in full force that is, 3D, Wifi, and the brightest light on.

Funny how some people just take what they like and use it against someone to make some chance for the other person to win :P

In the real world it does not work that way unless you chose not to see the truth then everything works :P

We do not know how much it will cost outside of Japan so do not jump around hoping it will lose to PSP2 just yet

The PSP2 is said to be near PS3 graphics and knowing how stupid Sony really is I can believe that but do not expect the battery to be better than that of the 3DS if it has those graphics plus the UMD. There is no way it will be cheaper than the 3DS and the games will not be cheaper either. Did you think of that before making this thread?

Saying that it will reign supreme just because it is Nintendo is exactly why Sony fell in 2006. If Nintendo has that attitude then they will fall...again

I'm working on a game atm. I haven't loaded my trophy data in about a week ^^

MMMM if PSP2 have the ammount of power that some Sony fans said it has just imagine the price of the thing <_<!

599 US dollars :0 besides the games for it? $50 like a Wii game :/ and the battery life?

knowing sony...
