lol msn is owned by microsoft of course they going to ask a wii question and compare it to kinect sale etc.. to undermine the console.

1-Thing is Nintendo are stuck in Limbo atm. 2- If they release a new console now it gives the competition to copy from launch. But also if they launch too late the wiis buzz will die of.

So they need to somehow for at least the next year or two make the Wii interesting again to the general public.

1-For someone at limbo, they did prety good at the holidays.

2- The Wii doesn't sell on the novelty or motiom control games, it sells because of the games it has, otherwise it would have legs when the "novelty" weared off (that's what I imagine will happen to Kinect if they don't feed it up with good games).

3-It still is interesting to the consumer, haven't you seen the holiday sales, even with Kinect?

Above: still the best game of the year.

"We DID bring out a new Wii and it was RED"

Reggie is stealth-trolling Pachter.

Indeed, I love those cuts Reggies does at machine journalists. No wonder he is known for taking names and kicking ass.

It will probably happen. I would like to see what they could do with the 3DS, especially if they expand on the MP: Hunters style. Multiplayer was amazing, and the horsepower of the 3DS could make things interesting

And a sidescrooler would be amazing to. Oh my think of all the possibilities *jizzzzz*

He talked about Donkey Kong being one of the motives to buy consoles, which means they are happy with it's sales, which means it problably moved some hardware, which means there will be a sequel, which means no more Metroid Prime so soon, which means crazy mad Sakamoto will still take care of the franchise, which means he will release another flop, which means the franchise will be even more destroyed.

And for what he talked about the red Wii means there won't me a new console or redesign so soon.

Likely Sakamoto is being sent off to Wario Ware 3D of some sort. That seems like the safe bet for an early 3DS project

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

DREAD!!!

I just felt like saying that.

yes I have. but disregard Christmas and what do we have all year? All I am saying is they need to keep people current users somewhat interested over this year. We all know Nintendo keep secrets but I am hoping they give me something this year I will like.

I am still waiting for KIrby to come out in AUS. I have almost lost interest in the game due to this long time taking to get here.

I will wait till e3 to belive this.

Why? When Epic Mickey was announced for the PS3 you posted it right away.

Did I say I belive it?

Wario Ware's mostly Intelligent Systems at this point, Sakamoto hasn't been heavily invested in the series except for two games really (the original and Twisted, arguably still the best two installments).

My guess is that besides Rhythm Heaven Wii, Sakamoto's working fulltime on bringing Tomodatchi Collection to 3DS, and likely in such a way that it can be brought to audiences worldwide.  The game has 10 million seller written all over it, but only if it can be released outside Japan.

I still think the next Metroid will be another Project M joint though, probably on 3DS, and probably another remake (either Metroid 2 or Super Metroid).
