Kung, have you played Bully and The Warriors? If so, what do you think of them?
May seem like a random question, but you'll see what I mean once you answer the question.

Nope, I haven't played it. Haven't even heard of it. Looking it up as I am typing.
EDIT: Couldn't find info via google.

Anyways, I liked the whole idea of the way the brawling is implemented, but I thought it could've been developed further.
So basically, if I was to make a game, it would be a cross between those two, with these differences:
- The protagonist is a female, and the city in which the game takes place is exclusive to women and girls (me and my dirty fantasies
).
- I'd put in an effort to make a big variety of fighting moves.
- Unlike Bully, the game will actually be difficult. The Warriors was pretty hard considering the AI is far more aggressive and unforgiving, but fighting people one on one was easy (exception being a few bosses). It only gets hairy if you're knifed, or if you're outnumbered.
- Unlike Bully, the main character is a college student rather than a school kid, and she's 20 years old, so as to make the in-game violence and blood more acceptable, and to make her strong enough to hold her own against adults.
- I'd add a similar system to Assassin's Creed 1's traveling, only with the difference being that the cities are neighborhoods for certain gangs, and the "Kingdom" in AC is the roads and highways in the game.
- I'd throw in more cliques in the university, but the important ones are pretty much the same ones as in Bully. I'd also include three local gangs instead of just the Townies like in Bully. A similar gang to the Townies would feature, except they're much more heavily punk-influenced, are Blue Collar workers, and their gang color is pink instead of orange like in Bully. The other two gangs would be a biker gang, and military academy students whom are mostly juveniles that have undergone rehabilitation. All of those cliques would end up helping the main character when fighting other gangs in the city (of course, she has to pacify them first).
- Lots of buildings can be entered, and environments won't be repetitive.
- Important characters usually have unique (and unrealistic) hair colors and/or styles along with (obviously) clothes.
- And storywise, the main character does befriend two other girls who don't belong to any clique (they're also her dorm roommates), but unlike Bully, neither one betrays the main character, and both are capable fighters (in Bully, one of them was only smart, but as a fighter was inadept, and the one who CAN fight is the main villain). One would be a stereotypical arrogant princess who ran from home, while the other is a shy girl who was sent there to toughen up and mature.
