Your PS3 will be closer. Wii is gonna ship something like 12m~ this calendar year, so dunno how 16 sell through is achieveable even with slight overshipping last Q4.

I will admit that my predictions were terrible but in my defence, I made these predictions before the Wii U was known about. I honestly thought that Nintendo was going to continue with the Wii with a Price Cut, many quality games, possibly a new model, and Vitality Sensor. Instead Nintendo announced their plans to act like the Wii never existed, release nearly no games, release a crap new model, and kill Vitality Sensor. 

As for the 3DS...I thought that Nintendo was going to have good launch games, and continue to support it throughout the whole year. I expected Mario Kart sooner, as well as Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, Revelations and many others. Instead, Nintendo decided to slap a big price tag on the 3DS with a terrible launch lineup, and didn't support the System at all until Late 2011...

Anyway, my predictions are still funny LOL!

lol... sure. PS3 peaked last year. Now it'll sell, what, 11 million this year? It's on its way out. Even if it drops only 2 million each year, it'll sell:

2013 -- 9 mil -- 81 mil total
2014 -- 7 mil -- 88 mil total
2015 -- 5 mil -- 93 mil total
2016 -- 3 mil -- 96 mil total
2017 -- 1 mil -- 97 mil total

This is giving the console a ridiculous benefit of the doubt. Consoles don't fade that slowly. Even on Sony's 10-year plan, it won't pass the Wii.
