Hard to tell, But I Think everyone is understimating the effect that a new Zelda could do, considering It's Zelda's 25th anniversary, If Nintendo gets creative for example a Golden Wii, a Zelda collection (similar to this year's Mario all stars) plus a price cut, I guess the Big Question will be how Kinect pulls through this year, I mean It got a big push cause of the Holidays, can it hold? I would put my money on Nintendo though,  Xbox has no Halo on sight.

This IS logical. Gears 1 pushed far more hardware than gears 2 (That's an example). Halo 3 pushed a lot more than reach. Little big planet 1 will push more hardware than little big planet 2. works for pretty much everything.

I do understand. It's just all the "system sellers" that OP mentioned were sequals. I believe the sequals in 2011 trump the sequals last year.

 


 That is not what I am saying. You listed Halo 1 and Gears 3 as reasons why the 360 would outsell the 360 sales of 2010. They have games of the same franchise that are already available on that platform, so why did you list them, if your explanation was logical. I never claimed that the originals did not push hardware more than the sequels. You claimed that just because they were sequels to games of a franchise already available on the platform, it would not boost harware that much which is a lie. You are arguing about something I was not talking about.

You're right. DQX only sells consoles in Japan. Americas need something more in the line of Wii Fit.

Look at it this way.

Halo 1 remake will have = boost as halo reach (About 200k consoles)

Gears of war 3 is a bigger franchise than fable so it will push more (Im not saying it will sell million like you made up earlier)

Plus this year has forza 4 (boost about 100k consoles worldwide)

Plus kinect is going to shine this year with more software that is totally original. so of course games are going to boost more consoles in 2011 than 2010.

Oh please, do not act like I am making stuff up like you said to someone earlier, or I may demand an apology. Your statements contradicted each other lol. You said that the wii games would not boost hardware that much because they were sequels to games already released on that platform yet you deem gears and Forza worthy of boosting hardware despite them being sequels to games released on that platform, which you claimed would not happen because games that are sequels to games already released on that preexisting platform would not push that much hardware. you are making things up. i never said wii games would not push more consoles than 360 games. I said games on both patforms would push less being sequals than the original game. 360 has more games to push minimal hardware this year than last year therfore 360 sales will be boosted more this year than last year by software. wii only has what zelda next year? thats about it so far. dragon quest is all about japan and this is an americas thread. U never said gears 3 seeling a million hardware i was making a point.
