This IS logical. Gears 1 pushed far more hardware than gears 2 (That's an example). Halo 3 pushed a lot more than reach. Little big planet 1 will push more hardware than little big planet 2. works for pretty much everything.

I do understand. It's just all the "system sellers" that OP mentioned were sequals. I believe the sequals in 2011 trump the sequals last year.

 

 That is not what I am saying. You listed Halo 1 and Gears 3 as reasons why the 360 would outsell the 360 sales of 2010. They have games of the same franchise that are already available on that platform, so why did you list them, if your explanation was logical. I never claimed that the originals did not push hardware more than the sequels. You claimed that just because they were sequels to games of a franchise already available on the platform, it would not boost harware that much which is a lie. You are arguing about something I was not talking about.
