Source mentioned in the same thread about the numbers, 360 got approx 1 million, ps3 850k and wii 1.6mill i think he said.

Apparently they are all having parties.

A lotttttt of them are bundles, so a lotttttt of the people are new audiences. Where I work in Australia the 250gb slim consoles are discontinued and we are only going to sell the kinect bundles..

I dont think so. 360 should lead a few hundred thousands. Up to 1.4 million in america alone should be possible.

Ok i think most of us listen to your GT5 lovefest for sometime now and we let it go but i think enough is enough now. Especially when you talk about the rubbish you have above.

Your talking about sims and putting Forza down by implying it isn't a sim. In this instance "the physics are more arcade". Are you for real? You do realise in GT5 as with all previous GT games you can use the cars in front of you to slow down from 150mph to 40mph so you can take the corner without having to brake by simply ploughing into them? That isn't very "sim" like you know because if you do that you will be dead...Add to that even if you do that your car will be fine and will continue to run at full capacity. Yeah really "sim" physics there...

The same goes with the AI which is obviously never going to be as good as human beings. But at least in Forza the AI adapts to your racing style, it won't follow a set magical line and stay on it like it is on rails, that is more like a train then racing.

So please for the love of god stop saying Forza isn't a sim racing game while implying GT5 is...

My love has nothing to do with the fact that GT5 is better simulator than Forza 3.

As a racing game Forza 3 is on par or even better than GT5 but as a simulator there is no comparison here.

Play the game first and come back...


In your opinion it is, doesn't mean it is in everyone elses.

As for the play the game remark...look at my gamertag. Click it and go and see what level i am up to. Your see i have put far more hours into it then Forza. However after looking at your tag i don't see GT5 on there. So that is quite funny you saying i should play it when you have no record of playing it on your tag where as i do...

But.. He looked at screenshots, and watched the trailers/developer's videos and fan made videos, that means he knows the ingame fysiks now!

It's the magical lift (the same thing that will make the PS3 sell 16, 20, 30 millions next year, while the Wii has negative sales).

So you have played Forza 3?

the tracks in forza are difinatly way out of proportions they are just so wide and unrealistic, this gives the uneducated gamer the feeling that "hey this plays and handles great" the best comparison you can do is take the same car same track same view. i tried this on suzuka gp the track accuracy, gradients and vehicle handling is better on gt5. even when in cockpit view gt5 shows race car feel screen judder where in forza its like nothing at all.

forza is a good game but not better than gt5.

in fact i booted up forza to check whats on it. all i found was season mode (pgr copy) event mode which is same as season mode you just pick yur events instead, theres time trial, online and paintshop and thats it. gt5 has far far more gameplay to enjoy and will last you a hell of  lot longer



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
