It is good to see it isn't a sloppy port.
Any news on whether the PS3 version will have uncompressed FMV's though?
The FMV's in the PC version seemed pretty horrible to me and I am praying they take advantage of Blu-Ray.

I ran the 2 demos side by side last night, just to see what all these comparisons are about all the time.
The sound from the 360 is louder for some reason, just annoying when switching back and forth.
The picture of 360 is darker (in everything), but I have a separate setting calibrated to each console.
On a 1080p screen the ps3 looks sharper. Everything looks cleaner especially at the part where the ship gets blown apart. DF says they both run at native 720p but I definitely see a big difference. Maybe my projector is a lot better at upscaling the ps3 720p output to 1080p then the 360 can (that converts it itself to 1080p)
The framerate during cutscenes is better on 360, and there is some tearing during gameplay on ps3.
The lighting is a mixed bag, sometimes the faces come out better on 360, sometimes on ps3. The contrast and colors seem a tiny bit better on ps3, but that's just a matter of calibration and personal taste.
Maybe I should disable 1080p output on my 360 if possible to force 720p output. Maybe that will make all my 360 games look better...
Anyway I rather play ME1 again with the ME3 engine, stupid exclusivity deal.
People here sure do love these comparisons. They seem completely pointless except in cases where there is one version that is significantly better than the other, like with Bayonetta. Even then only a very small number of people who own both consoles and are interested in a certain game will buy one version based on visuals and game performance.
I had only a ps2 last generation and played many multiplats that ran, loaded, and looked worse than its xbox and gc counterparts. At that time it never crossed my mind that I should care about framerates, anti-aliasing, loading times, screen tearing or whatever else gamers these days obsess over. If any of this stuff actually mattered and wasn't just a matter of fanboyism under the veil of objectivity, wouldn't these people purchase these games for PC where possible? Comparing which console version sucks less is just another way for fanboys to circlejerk their favourite console.
Other than that, what is the point of these comparisons in cases where the games are just about the same?

I like graphics. First thing I do with a new pc is load up some old games and run them full detail in the monitors native resolution. Replaying Half life 2 in 1280x1024 at max detail was great.
Replaying the HD remake of god of war 2 was also great, looking forward to replay my favourite game from last gen in HD SotC.
Early reports made it seem ME2 on PS3 with the ME3 engine was supposed to be much better. Well nothing worth replaying the game for. Seems the only difference is in the upscaling from 720p to 1080p.
I'll replay the HD remake next gen :)
(no, too lazy to drag the pc over and play it on there)
SO this is the ME3 engine bioware was taunting?

I was about to say, "well in this case, there is still one version that's signifcantly better than the others," but then I read your second paragraph. =(

What extra content? The 360 owners can attain the content as well. They just dont get the comic.
I am not impressed at all by the demo. I was expecting a lot more from all the hype that comes with this series. I really hope the retail game doesn't turn out like this and for once, I'll wait for reviews to make a decision.

You're gonna wait for reviews on a game that is 11 months old? What do you anticipate changing your mind in the round of ps3 reviews that wasn't already covered in detail almost a year ago?
