@savior x I think those are just better games, honestly what did NSMBWii really bring to the table???? co-op??? LBP did that and online, and level editor, I support that game because it technically never ends. How much better would Mario have been if it had a infinite levels?? Braid is one of the few platformers that force you to use your head, Limbo has an atmosphere rarely seen in 2d platformers. If I may be so bold I think that NSMBWii would not have sold half it did had it not been for Mario's brand

I'm really sick and tired of hearing about LittleBigPlanet. I mean really, seriously annoyed like it revolutionized something. Several years from now, no one will be talking about LBP having any big impact on the videogame industry, yet people talk about it like it was a Godsend and it was not.
LBP was an above average level editor with not even half the amount of difficulty as NSMB in terms of RAW platforming. NSMB lacking online is one of the most overstated flaws I've ever seen planted on a game in many a year. Sales DO NOT EQUAL QUALITY, but if NSMB managed 20 million without online, the feature's significance in this case is wildly overstated.
The point of Mario is to save the princess; the end. If the game never ended, there would be no point to progressing throughout the worlds. I'd rather have Nintendo's professionally made content anyways, rather than 1 million subpar levels made by gamers. LBP never ending is just a million levels i wont play.
Braid, I found boring. LBP, I found boring. NSMB wasn't as good as Super Mario World, but it sure as hell was good enough for people to buy Wiis over it.
