Actually you'd find it's usually ethomaz citing "adjustments" in almost EVERY thread. I have grown accustomed to it now, and even created a game of betting myself how many posts it will be until he posts a sentence with "undertracked" in it.

OT, the 360 numbers DO seem a bit low, but then again, EMEAA isn't its strongest region, would be interested to see the Americas, those pesky "Others" countries are as mystical as ever >_>.

Epic Mickey is UP once again! I think we will see a 100k week.

Not exactly news but Other M is really hated in these regions. >_> 3k/week during this period? Power Bomb activated.

Wait what? Dude I think you misunderstood me.. :/ What I am saying is:

Every WW thread you come in and say "Good numbers.. before adjustments", might not be EVERY but at least 9/10. I am not saying that you are gloating about them or anything, but what I am saying is, just stop saying "Before adjustments.." in EVERY thread about sales, I get the point. You hope nay, you are convinced that there will be big adjustments come next year. Really sometimes I wonder why you even bother visiting this site if you doubt the numbers to such an extent.

This has to be the hardest time of the year for VGC to get reliable data.  VGC vs NPD in November was quite different.  The Japan previews have been way off for the past several weeks it only is logical to think that come January and February the qtrly reports and numbers from other trackers will be a good deal different.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Well the demeaning is the crux of my point.  If it wasn't for EMEAA (and no, I've never liked that grouping), GT5 would be nothing.  But the same can be said of, say, Halo Reach and Americas.  But those purchasers in Americas are quite often demeaned in this community for it as well as the series in general, but GT5 sales in EMEAA have been celebrated for carrying the title.

Now you see why Halo and GT case are not alike.

Except, outside of special edition consoles, Halo games weren't bundled.  If you remove GT3 from that comparison (which was HEAVILY bundled in Americas), how does it look at that point?

I don't know where you get this "demeaning Halo because it primarily sells in the Americas" from. I've seen a lot of people hate on Halo for no good reason, but that it gets its impressive sales performance mostly because of the Americas isn't one of those no good reasons. I mean really there are almost no big selling FPS games that aren't dominated by Americas sales on 360. Look at MW1, MW2, WaW, Black Ops, Left for Dead 1 & 2, Borderlands... So there's really no legitimacy to singling out Halo as having a large Americas:EMEAA sales imbalance. FPS Games that have a <2:1 sales ratio on 360 are the exception to the rule (or they've sold like crap across the board), meaning Halo games simply follow the normal FPS pattern on 360. End result is that this whole discussion is based on a false premise, as is any flaming about Halo's sales pattern (of which I've seen none).

Well I've been on this site for about 4 years, a member for nearly 3 and I've seen a MEGATON of it.  Many negative comments such as "if it wasn't for Americans buying their own" and the like plastered all over this and many other forums.  To be honest, if I had the means and the patience, I'd hunt down a list of them but I'm sorry I don't.  But it IS real.
