We know because the JP retail blogs pretty much said so.  Lots of RPG buyers waited on Graces in favor of FFXIII, and when word of Graces massive bug issues spread, it basically killed sustained sales (Graces has the worst legs of any mothership Tales game, by a significant margin).  Why else exactly do you think Graces Wii (mothership game, Team Destiny, hardware bundle, holiday release, tons of ads) sold worse than Symphonia KOR (side game, Team Interns, no bundle, summer release, hardly any ads)?

And deal with what?  I think Graces f would've sold better regardless, just like how Tales games sell better on PSP than DS.  That doesn't mean there aren't things that could've helped Graces Wii sell better than it did though.

Bullshit, Tales had no chance against FFXIII, and the game sold has much it could sell  on the Wii. The only people who waited for tales were Wii fans who wanted to brag about it being better than FFXIII. And frankly both games had their problems. And THEY ARE ON TWO DIFFERENT CONSOLES.

So, once again, why do you think Graces sold less than Symphonia KOR?  You don't think Graces could've sold better had it not released opposite the biggest game in the same genre on home consoles to that point and not been so buggy as to warrant replacement discs?  Really?

First the game was released in December, it was on the Wii which had its biggest December in Japan, FFXIII did not stop any other game from selling when most people are out shopping anyway. Seriously dude, that's what you get with the Wii in Japan.

The PS3 has far bigger problem anyway, none of their games has any legs, it seems the fanbase buy all their games on the first week.

Can you stop avoiding the question?  Why did Graces sell less than Symphonia KOR?

Oh... so against a game bigger than MHP3? :P

Does that mean Graces f had no big competition (since PS3's not going to see any million sellers any time soon)?

That's why Tales games or third party games should come to PS3 ANYWAY, No competition.

Actually, no. Release it on the Wii first, fix all the bugs, then release it on the PS3.

Yes, or 360 first, then PS3.  This seems like the only way for Tales games to crack 500k this gen.  Poor Xillia. ;)

You call Gust's games shovelware? Now I understand why people hate you so much. Don't push it too far, because trust me, you don't want me to be your enemy.

Suck my bias!
