Should Nintendo change the name for the next home console or be boring and stick with wii 2, I no the wii is now a household name but things are getting boring with the same console names with a different digit on then end. i no a brand name is important but in Nintys case i dont think it applies as much as Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo's a big name by itself, so any ideas for a console name, i think they should go with what the Wii was meant to be called Revolution

Don't worry, I'm certain that they wouldn't call it Wii 2 - that's just lazy :s

It really depends on how different it is to the Wii - has it been confirmed that it'll even use the same motion controls? It could be something completely different, and so a completely different name would be used. :p

Off topic: What will MS call their next console? Surely not the Xbox 720?

Who knows? The list is endless.

It will most likely keep the word "Wii" to keep brand recognition, so I guess, Wii2, WiiHD(doubt it because then Pachter would be right), or Super Wii. I could see them pushing 3d for their next console, as the same with 3ds, but this is still doubtful, seeing as 3d tvs are still not in enough homes around the world. I wonder what those crazy minds at Nintendo are up to though.

If the next home console is 3D, even I won't be buying it for another 10 years or so. I like to think that Nintendo have enough business sense to realise that 3D TVs are a luxury that only the richest people can afford, in most cases.
