Yes, but I'm glad it isn't

Imo it is GOTY! Anyways opinion is opinion, but i think some people were harsh on the game saying it's similar to SMG, i mean isn't it the case for every videogame and it's sequel? I thought it was briliant and i'm glad Nintendo decided to make a direct sequel! I agree though maybe SMG3 would be a tad too much :P

For me, Monster Hunter Tri also would be GOTY. But SMG2 also deserves that honor.

This. I've been playing Tri since launch day and still I am not tired with it. Somethng Galacy 2, whilst better, hasn't managed to do. Hence why MHTri is slightly better in my eyes.

But it will never win any awards

Mario Galaxy 2 is nothing like the first game, the only thing is the same is bowser and the princess.. and being in space but that is expected in the sequal to Mario Galaxy lol.. everything else is way different
