yes , reports were for this week... so this week Xbox will be around 300K in Americas and when NPd cames out it will be like 2.5M ... Gotta Love those NPD Threads on Gaf , here and all around the net.

Why not? I mean the Wii was highly supply constrained in its first 2 years due to its major success. And with the huge success of Kinect I won't be surprised to see MS dealing with that kind of issue for a couple of weeks too.

I didn't see a gift card offer for the 360. The Wii will get a $75 card at walmart starting tomorrow and the PS3 is getting a $100 card.

Damn you're right.  I keep forgetting the lag in weeks from news.  Beats me then.  I can only imagine three possible scenarios - either they really did run low or there was an impending deal that delayed buying a bit or the numbers are a bit off for some reason and will get adjustments.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I dont as well how many people really knew about the $75 gift card until Sunday.. I was able to buy both a Kinect Sensor and 4GB Kinect Bundle last week just walking into Target.  I havent seen a 250GB anything to save my life.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Then in effect Nintendo cut the price of the Wii from $20-$75 for nearly the whole holiday season.
