Forums - Sony - Custom soundtracks in GT5: What are you listening to?

I go for all out old school heavy metal, mostly Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, mixed in with a little Metallica and Judas Priest... of course with everything Bon Jovi (hell, not metal but whatever).

I've found that with this music on, my lap times have improved and I make less mistakes. I guess the music makes me stop feeling pressure, which makes me relax around the track more. What're you guys listening to?

Music in a GT game? No thanks! The first thing I do when I get a GT game is turn off the menu sounds, menu music, racing music and replay music. I could never stand listening to music while racing in games, for some reason.

planetary go and soul on display not excellent games but theyr not bad.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Same here, nothing beats playing a racing game while hearing the full blown sound of the engine coming out from your 5.1 system

Also, not counting only that factor, there are events in GT5 which almost need that you concentrate on your engine noise, to get a feeling of your shifting times, avoiding constant visualization of the HUD that could make you lose precious hundreds of seconds.

i dunno, the music makes me relax. i've tried it, and it reduced my laptimes quite a bit.

I'm still compiling my list so as of now, I'm listening to the game soundtrack

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

all the dnb and music featured in the trailers for the menus, everthing else turned off, nothing for racing

this is great for racing

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
