 Think about what you just posted. Everyone who has played any games knows about Mario (for the most part) and the fact that any casual player can pick up and play the game. Sunshine was not the type of Mario game that you could just pick up and play. The game had its moments but was nowhere near as fun as Super Mario 64 IMO. Mario Galaxy just looks like a game that anyone can enjoy. Thats why.

Let's hammer out the details. Lifetime is way too long range, let's set the timeframe to one year. The bet is whether or not GT5 will sell 4 million more than MK Wii in the first year of each title's release. To make that clear, that's twelve months of sales for MK Wii, and twelve months of sales of GT5. If you want to adjust your 4 million margin, since we aren't talking lifetime any more, now would be the time to do it.

The stakes... I'm not a fan of bans, so how about the winner gets to set the loser's avatar for 3 months? Maybe throw in a line or two of signature, if you like.


 What number would be best for you? I'll build off that number if it is too high or too low.

Since Mario Cart will most possibly get released out first out of the 2, I will take a shot and say Mario cart. GT5 will make nice numbers though.

So is Mario Kart. Mario Kart is a lot more simple for non-gamers to play then Mario 64 actually. Or atleast that's been the case for the Non-gamers I know.

MK will smash GT in the long run but in the begining there opening sales and mothly sales will be close.

MK will out sell GT but GT will sell a ton even though the install base for the PS3 install base will be quite a bit lower then the Wii

I will take some action on this bet also if you want. I will bet you a brand new ps3 console, that your prediction above is wrong. Spotting 4 million is very generous, I will be amazed if gt5 beats mk at all.
