I think morrowind and oblivion where both great games.   I totally disagree that they where over rated. Oblivion  was on top of it's game  when it released.  Wouldn't this be the first time elder scrolls released on console twice in the generation?

Have you ever played a Bethesda game?  Obsidian's not exactly known for QA, but Bethesda's games are also buggy as all hell.

In fact, I rmember KOTOR 2 and New vegas having a very similar slow beggining where I was naked because I couldn't find any good armor worth using.. Pretty much, Bethesda consistently delivers fun games. Odsidian delivers.. Buggier & worse sequels.

What I'm saying is that they ain't even in the same league.

with WRPG"S that big in size,how could you not have bugs. All I know in fall out new vegas,my game froze on me twice and I got caught in a wall and had to restart the game,but I did'nt mind because personally new vegas is just that good to me. lol

I agree entiely with you. Although my bugs were quite more significant. After I upgraded ED-E, he wouldn't follow or attack for me. Then he disapeared on the map completely,  and I could not change him out for rex, and I couldn't enter Caesars tent. My game crashed about 10 times near the end, and all hell would break loose when I got to the president kimball part (and not how it's intended..) It wouldn't even give the objective to complete the NCR ending.. Also I would see rex randomly in the world from time to time and he would start attacking people (I guess they wore hats)

I am 50 hours into Oblivion, and I don't really like it. It's too much repetitive, I'm doing all the same : mission/kill everyone / go to my lair to empty my inventory/ rinse and repeat.

Of course, it's technically impressive, the interaction with the environment is extreme and so on.... but I find the game itself is a bit boring.

 

So no, I am not very excited. Also, on a side note, I am pretty ashamed that everybody claps one's hands or drools over the 3 - 4 new trailer of games that everybody and his grandmother know they are going to be released anyway, while absolutely not the slightest second of gameplay is shown. Once again, give me some gameplay !!!!
