How can any individual that does not have a large stake in such corporations choose the side of the corporations and businesses in these questions? These are things I can't imagine political parties would debate about and that people vote for. |
It's actually pretty easy for two of em.
1)Should gloablization benefit people more then corporations? Yes sure.
2) The only responsibility corporations should have is to make money? Again, yes. It's up to the people to stop coporations either through not buying or through forcing government legislation.
Do people care more about enviromental standards or cheap sneakers... it's up to the people. The quality of coproation is directly related to the quality of it's consumers.
3) Goverments should penalize comapnies that mislead the public. Well of course they should.
4) What is good for the most successful corporations is ultimatley good for all of us. 95% of the time true, they spur economic growth which leads to more jobs for more people and more wealth and everybody living a better life.
It's just a matter of not having the myopic view that
