For a handheld.....eh, I don't know how i feel about that.

I'm not going to sit on my 3DS and expect the same experience by myself, nor do I expect every one I know who loves SSB to rush out the doors and buy a 3DS to own this game. SSB is meant for a console. Will it sell, yes. Will it have that same magical touch? I doubt it. As Soleron said, this is about local multiplayer. |
I have to agree with this. I dont have a lot of interest in any handheld fighting games. Im the guy with the Nintendo products amoungst my friends. They love playing Smash Brothers and Mario Karts etc when we are hanging out. If not for that I wouldnt bother with the fighting games as its kind of boring to play them alone. On a Handheld id probably be the only one with it and even if I wasnt the magic would still be missing because the others are not looking on as we are going at it.

I want a new installment too, but I'd rather see someone else than Sakurai work on it.
After all, he insulted competitive gamers, and any kind of balance that was in Melee, he made sure wan't present in Brawl.
I LOVE ICELAND!

Meaning you just want Nintendo vs Capcom vs Konami, right? :P
Which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but it doesn't seem like something Nintendo would consent to ever.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
The Turtles would be great for smash bros!
Game over...
What I want from a game.
Gameplay > Story > Content > Graphics
Visual Style > Graphics
Smooth Camera, Intuitive Controls
Friction! When everything feels right!

I find Brawl more balanced for the average player, and I find I can use a wider range of characters without having to learn them. Removing the Melee 'tricks' (exploits) was good too. Competitive gamers are too small a market for Nintendo to cater to.
