Don't get me wrong. What made this game fun for me was sitting down with my brothers and nephews on one television and one GC/Wii, going at it and enjoying every second of it. I'm not going to sit on my 3DS and expect the same experience by myself, nor do I expect every one I know who loves SSB to rush out the doors and buy a 3DS to own this game.

SSB is meant for a console. Will it sell, yes. Will it have that same magical touch? I doubt it.

As Soleron said, this is about local multiplayer.

I have to agree with this. I dont have a lot of interest in any handheld fighting games. Im the guy with the Nintendo products amoungst my friends. They love playing Smash Brothers and Mario Karts etc when we are hanging out. If not for that I wouldnt bother with the fighting games as its kind of boring to play them alone. On a Handheld id probably be the only one with it and even if I wasnt the magic would still be missing because the others are not looking on as we are going at it.
