Forums - Gaming - PS3 games "infinitely more fun" than Wii

what is fun is relative to that person's tastes.

Also, if the wii is selling out; then parents have to get their kids another game console for Christmas.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Somebody should put a padlock on his mouth. At the rate he keeps saying stupid things he'll kill the PS3 all by himself.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said but I don't think you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

It is actually quite an odd statement when you actually think about it ...

Golf, Baseball, and Tennis in Wii Sports could easily be translated into one-button games but would face the exact same problem that all one-button games have; they would simply be no fun. There is something about actually swinging your racket/golf-club/baseball bat which is far more enjoyable and satisfying than pressing a button.

No matter how many polygons they add, or how "uber-realistic" PS3 games get, they will never be able to capture the simple enjoyment of acting out your actions.

People keep using the PR excuse but seriously this does not help. People are turned off by arrogance. I know I'll take flak for this but his like the Bush of the gaming industry just make shit up to push his agenda. Couldn't they just be happy with selling so well and reported numbers etc.

That's what happens when you design a product that MUST BE #1 in order to make money.

The Wii was designed to make profit no matter what. Now, it makes even more profit since it's #1, but that's a bonus.

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

He is insistent on reminding me why I hate Sony as a company.

"Nintendo's struggle to supply enough consoles to meet the demand is also keeping Stringer warm at night."

That's an interesting part of the article. Since that's pretty much as far as anyone will go to call an exec on their BS PR talk now a days. Usually most groups would keep stuff like that out to not piss of said execs and lose interviews. (Timid sounding i know.. but still.)

You do know it doesn't really work that way, do you? Most times parents are willing to make a deal with the kids to buy them their wanted present with a bonus just after christmas if they can't find one before christmas. Or do you mean to tell me that parents give their children things that the children don't want?

That is very very subjective just like his statement.

Especially since the SixAxis DOES have motion support.

It's just a PR statement guys...not such a big deal.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Lot of my friends search for the Wii.

Not for the ps3 and the 360...they don't like it.

They like the new way the wii make them play.

They never play before...and they will never play with a «old style» console(ps360).Never.

When someone ask for a wii in a store...the employee say «no» ans the costumers go out until he came back ank ask again for the wii.

They dont even watch for the ps360...

Its not for nothing if all the store are full of ps360 .
