Golf, Baseball, and Tennis in Wii Sports could easily be translated into one-button games but would face the exact same problem that all one-button games have; they would simply be no fun. There is something about actually swinging your racket/golf-club/baseball bat which is far more enjoyable and satisfying than pressing a button. No matter how many polygons they add, or how "uber-realistic" PS3 games get, they will never be able to capture the simple enjoyment of acting out your actions. |
