Sounds pretty bad, but really, this "family of treasure hunters" business is just the turd icing on the shit cake that is Marky Mark. With that wooden bastard as Drake, this movie was doomed from the word go.

Why is it with nearly every game to movie adaptation, the movie guys seem to think they have to significantly alter the source material? Nine times out of ten it'll ruin the movie.

I can understand the need to change things around for the movie screen, but don't obliterate the source material with what will likely equate to Hollywood drivel. Just look at how the Max Payne movie turned out.

It's a video game movie, of course it was ruined. Game movies almost never honor the source material. Which makes you wonder why they bother licensing the material in the first place.

To you guys that don't know. The Family thing is the Mafia. You know, kind of like the Yakuza.

Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci  = Mafia guys in movies.
