Pretty much 2/3rd of the people surveyed were female according to the andriasang. And, what exactly started the FFVII remake demand in the first place? That tech demo from 2005.

Final Fantasy 8 is my favourite of the series, but I know it is not normally considered the most well-liked game of the series. FF7 and Xenogears are also great games, and are also among my favourites. Someone above mentioned Suikoden 2, that one is also excellent =)
