From the same reviewer? If so then I don't for a second buy that GT5 is 1.5 points less good of a game than FM3. I can accept someone objectively saying FM3 for them is a better game, that's a matter of taste. But a 1.5 point spread isn't really credible. He can't simultaneoulsy say that it offers the best driving sim experience on any console and then mark it down that much in comparison to the game he thinks provides (I assume) the 2nd best driving sim experience on any console.

I think the Metacritic spread between GT5 and FM3 of 0.6 ponts is about right based on the actual criticisms I've read. On an individual review basis I can see a 1 point spread being within reason.

It's unfortunate there are elements of GT5 that are a let down for a lot of people, because in large measure those elements are probably relatively minor from a game development perspective (like having the progressive introduction of damage come in at a much lower experience level, or design and functionality of the menu, or match making for online).

One critique of the std cars is that they look not much different from the same car in GT4. Anyone got side by side in-game screen shots between GT5 and GT4 for comparison?

There was a recent patch in GT5 anybody know what it was for?

This was actually a very good review. I'm interested in the game now despite its issues.

pretty much what others have said actual gameplay and handling is the best on consoles, but they dont like the load times menues and other things similar.
