Is this really a Yu-Gi-Oh episode, because this is so tedious and hilarious at the same time. Is that a fail of an Australian Accent in the video?
Edit: Thank god it is not real!

| Kantor said: British English is used in all of the Commonwealth. Indeed, British English is used pretty much everywhere except America. I don't think I've ever seen a non-American misspell "colour" (though I have seen a few "program"s and "center"s). Where American is used, it's more due to lack of knowledge of British English than actual intent to use the American dialect. |
Since I am American. I always find it funny when I see companies use words like "Colour" and "Armour" since i'm so used to seeing "Color" and "Armor".
It is quite strange and cool at the same time. Well at least to me. :/
I speak German English.

I use lots of americanizations in day to day life....my teachers at school used to get annoyed.
No-one cares at Uni.
While learning katakana (Japanese syllabary for foreign loanwords), I noticed that several words are written similarly to how people from southern England would say them. Being from northern England, this was a WHOA moment for me.

British and other British English users have had to be exposed by American English because of no translators, I guess it is pointless to translate though.

I once used Meter and some people complained so I don't tend to, although I do sometimes get annoyed with Americanisations (you just used one now).
And for the American accents thank the Ulster and West Country accents.
The people I meet from the US and Canada that speak English tend to speak it US style. I don't know about writing but it's likely that the hundreds of millions of people or whatever in both India and China that use English, use the British version.

I honestly don't see why people care if people spell color/colour a certain way. I mean, English is bound to be different from region to region.
Anyhow,, the U.S has a population of about 310 million, plus Canada ( we use the same stuff don't we?) that pretty much outnumbers British English speakers by a lot.
Unless people start counting India...
