it's probably because Sweden is #1 in the EU when it comes to rape.  (Which their definition of rape is the same as the US, despite what you may have read.)

A guy initating sex with an unconsious woman is rape.  If you can't see that... I don't know what's wrong with you.  Though yeah, he'd be charged with rape anywhere in the EU... and the US for intiating sex without a condom on an unconsious woman.

If someone steals your couch, and later you give them permission to take everything in your house... they've still stolen your couch.

The only way waking up people with sex is legal, is if you've discussed it with your partner beforehand so you've received prior consent.  Which is actually an important lesson for people.

You can't comit an act, get permission afterwords and expect it to be legal.

PS: You do realize sleeping people are unconsious right, I think your letting your emotions stop yourself from thinking logically.

Assange was doing something illegal.  I mean he is being charged with the crime, no?  It's something that will get you charged with a crime anywhere in the western world.

And if someone decided to start having sex with me without a condom when i specifically told them I only wanted to do so with protection... your damn right they should rot in jail.   I don't know what kind of sexual diseases they might be exposing me to... and what if I orgasmed and she got pregnant?  Then i've gotta pay child support when I specifically said I didn't want to have sex without a condom I mean what the fuck?  If I was a woman it'd be even worse...  needing an abortion or having to go through a pregnancy... not fun.

With a condom?  I wouldn't care, but plenty of people would, and I'm a pretty forgiving guy.  I wouldn't tell the police, but if they found out somehow, it's totally in their rights to prosecute.  You don't go easy on people who commit crimes to people who don't care about them because it sends the wrong message.

Either

A) It's your fault for thinking it's a big deal victim

or

B) You'll probably get lucky anyway everybody, so just test the system.

So far Ive heard nothing earth-shattering but I haven't been following this thoroughly. I'm surprised there's no bigger corruption going on behind the scenes of the diplomatic world. What are the biggest scandals revealed so far?
