i think its more to do with the holiday season because its so close to christmas

Those "Other Europe" and "Others" confuse me, must be impossible to track accurately though, yeah UK had massive sales in Sainsburys, £220 for 320GB PS3 and a Move Starter kit - £30 less than a standalone 250GB slim used to be, I think that other shops matched it as well, if you can prove that it's that price at x shop, y shop will match the price, not in all cases but in most.

IDK elsewhere, but here in Italy Ninty started a very heavy Xmas advertising, a lot more than Sony (that some days before GT5 launch was mildly advertising PS Move) and MS (that's currently getting almost only 3rd party advertising, these days mainly NFS: Hot Pursuit XB360 version).

yes! YES!! Wii back on top, just as expected. and i think it will be on top even next week, in spite of gt5 launch. afterall it's the holyday season and it would have grown anyway, and there are also epic mickey and mario kart black bundle.

i see 3 reasons for the wii surge:

1)normal holyday boost

2)red wii bundle

3)wii party and just dance 2 starting to sell systems on word of mouth (i remembr iwata saying that for a casual game it's normal to start selling systems after 6 - 8 weeks on the market because of word of mouth and playing at friend's homes, now both titles are in that timeframe)

nintendomination for the holydays!
