You level very fast in the special races like Kart/Nascar. I think this is by design so people have the option to level pretty fast if they want to.

I would have preferred to level that fast on the main events ...I dont know

They probably did it that way so  more experience GT fans could play the new special races and level up quicker so they could skip some of the beginner levels.

Gameplay – 7/10

The gameplay itself could have been better, but after all, it’s still a simulator. The good things are that they have added different “challenges” like Top Gear, Rally and so on. This makes the game way better. You also get the opportunity to choose “Arcade mode” or “GT mode”

The gameplay is bad because is still a simulator...

Oh my god!!! What the fucking people think GT is??? It's a Real Driving Simulator... it's not Arcade.

meta back to 86, should get better once more reviews start coming in, looks like some sites are taking their time.

but damn are some reviewers stupid, its like if they accepted gt5 to be more then just a sim racer because of the development time. everyone is saying its a great game but disapointing because it took it 5 years.

yeah some reviews are really stupid.

Talking about the metascroe, I think it should go up (they havent added many of the 9s the game has received.

I hope it gets to 8.8 at least

some? alot of them are stupid. i understand the game not being good, but joystiq calls it the perfect game for a racing fan, but for a non racing fan, or an arcade racing fan it calls its not a game for them. that makes no sense.

Have these people ever played a GT game before? There has been an Arcade and a GT mode in every game since GT1 came out. It seems like they have simply appointed this job to someone who doesn't like simulators and their gameplay. Oh well, makes for great entertainment anyway!
