Not for most of this generation and I believe the Wii did quite well with Casual gamers at $250.  Maybe I have a bad memory, but if I recall correctly the Wii didnt just start selling in October 2009.  If I also recall correctly most of the Nintendo faithful here also claim that it was NSMBWii that drove sales the last year and the price cut didnt do much.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
