Forums - PC Discussion - I just bought Morrowind, help me make it good (mod help)

I already had it on the Xbox and it's an ugly game, it plays like shit and the pop in is just ridiculous. So I recently picked up a copy on PC and even though it looks a litter better, the pop in is gone and it runs better, the gameplay is still shit and the character models are cringe worthy.

So I want some mods and I want to know how to use them. Take into account that I've never done it before and I've tried and failed in the past with the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Arx Fatalis. I loved oblivion so I really want to play through Morrowind, but I'd rather make it look as good as possible and maybe fix the combat a little bit. Please tell me what to do.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Man it's been ages since I played that game can't really think of any mods off the top of my head but I remember the mods being relatively strait foreword as long as you use the mod manager. If you have Oblivion for PC I hear that you can get a mod that lets you play Morrowind in the oblivion engine which could be worth a try if you want improved visuals.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

There's an FAQ in the Bethesda forums about this:

Good luck. The game is awesome.

ironically even with what you said, the character models are still better than Oblivion's , and (and there are more than one voice actors!)

There's a thread to get it to run in widescreen.
