I'm sure the Wii will come out on top but this week basically seals the deal as far as where things will stand between the PS3 and the 360 in the last 10 weeks of the year. At this point it's almost a mathematical certainty. On the weeks in which 360 had everything going for it in Americas (Kinect launch, Black Ops bundles) the largest gap it got in Americas was only 100k. If that's the largest gap it can muster than there's no way it can top PS3 because that's the minimum the gap will be every week in December in Japan plus the last week of November. And EMEAA won't even be a contest once GT5 comes out.

I will admit that the PS3 and 360 will be a lot closer than I thought but I still think that the 360 will outsell PS3 Holiday 2010. I don't see GT5 pushing as many PS3's as a lot of people on this site say it will...it will push a good amount but it won't be crazy #'s. I also expect Kinect to get the word of mouth treatment as we get closer to the Holiday's and Others won't have a huge gap between PS3 and 360 like America will have and I don't see Japan making up the difference. One thing I will say though is that 360 does have a chance at being #3 this Holiday and even if it does get #2 if its not by a good amount 360 may not have a good future ahead of it because PS3 is gaining year after year on the 360 and Kinect as of now doesn't look like it will be saving it from being #3 this Gen.

where is this Kinect domination I kept hearing about??

the 360 outsold PS3 hardware by 30k last week WW after Kinect NA launch and beat the Wii by 15k

this week, during the Kinect EMEAA launch, the 360 outsells the PS3 by 70k in WW hardware and Wii by 30k

but this is before the Wii's big software launches, and before massive push by GT5 (The Source predicts WW PS3 hardware sales of over one million when GT5 hits on Black Friday, Japan alone  already sold out of over 100k pre-orders of the blue GT5 PS3 bundles)

I saw a few 360 fanboys saying that Kinect will destroy the Wii and PS3 this holiday season, and will also make the 360 overcome the Wii in worldwide hardware sales.  Total nutjobs!!   Loonies!!

Move and Kinect will do well during the holidays because of their new-ness, but after the holidays, both Move and Kinect will be seen as fads and sales will drop like a rock.

And why do fanboys want Kinect and Move to succeed anyway??  I like my regular controllers  Thank you very much

And do people really want to see Halo fitness and Fable Kart racing??

On second thought, I'd like to see that, come on Kinect, dominate everyone and destroy Move, so 360 becomes the home of casual games, and 360 fanboys will have to sell their 360 and get a PS3 because all the hardcore games will be only on PS3  LOL

Very nice week. Decent PSP, excellent XB360, DS and Wii, very good PS3, although it's still a little bit slow in America, compared to competitors. Will this be PS2's last Xmas? Or will Sony try to launch it on more emerging markets?

i dont think we should be saying that that this  is done in Americas and bla bla bla... Kinect effect will be bigger in holidays... Dont forget people will buy alot of kinect bundles with Xboxs.

If Kinect is doing what many people predict then the 360 should really start arcing up during Black Friday week and accelerate through Christmas at a higher rate than it has in the past.

i think PS3 (always undertracked anyway) and Wii U.S. numbers are to low but all goood nonetheless.

i agree with everything you said and you know why faboys want kinect and move to sell. but incase you forgot its to prove a needless point.
