1) no... both you and noname argue one position, the whole point of arguing is to have the other person change their opinion no? after noname's historical point and responding to it, I realized that I might be missing something. Your night probabilities, whether intentionally or not, brought me to the conclusion that indeed, for a vanilla game, the odds are not that much better on day 2 and unlike powered games where I was more radically against first day lynches, vanilla games first day lynches don't sound so far fetched after all. Can't really say much more than this to explain the point ^^

Yeah...but you gotta start pretending to contribute somewhere, right ? Why not start by attacking a townie who wants to take a shot at lynching someone on day 1 ? 

After all, who cares if its the only way the town can win ? (By it I mean lynching in general, not first day lynches...I said that because you'll probably try to exploit that as well..)

wow.. I was trying to show that those lynches had major "WTF is this shit" moments...hopefully something we'll avoid in this game and not prove my innocence.. I pointed out the reasons for those mislynches when you were not fond of day one lynching around 5 minutes ago...but since you changed your mind now, under pressure, its cool >:D

Even prof mentioned in the awards that lynch was Kamal's fault. He refused to roleclaim and when he was finally ready to, he was already lynched. And he pretended to be Goku when I was Goku. So yeah...he diverted us away from a perfectly good lynch on the SK on day one, lead by yours truly...

And I pointed out that you were almost lynched on day 1 because of hatmoza's crazyness...not anything else...it was clear that you weren't gonna be lynched. Hell even YOU voted for yourself to get some hatmoza's ex-gif topless pics or whatever... Now you want us to believe that you were under the threat of getting lynched ? GTFO with your pathetic attempts at lying.

And we were talking about day one lynches. You were lynched on day 2. How is that even relevant here cause people are obviously gonna lynch on day 2 when they shit out whatever is stuck in there pessimistic asses during day 1....

And IIRC, you were voted on by 3 of the 4 mafia and vetteman and the timer ran out. We never reached a majority.

So a big fat fucking alarm bell ringing over you heph....you're scum. Just make it easier to all of us by accepting it and getting us off to a great start

I meant gamble with a day one lynch. If it pays off, its great !

You know when someone is under pressure or doesn't care to observe much when they talk about a poster who hasn't posted yet....

So it seems Hephaestos and GodofWar are going at it.

Neither of them seems all that scummy to me since I think they are both acting according to character and I don't think scum would attract that much attention right off the bat. There's always the possibility of the two of them being scum trying to distance themselves from one another but it's highly unlikely since the Mafia didn't get the chance to talk yet.

I think random first day lynches are a bad idea, odds are in the town's disfavor (17 people 4-6 mafia/SK, that means at least 4-6 votes directed thowards a random townie on which people will bandwaggon).

However I think First day, first page calls for a lynch are just plain scummy, GoW. Adding to this that you're very likely to be using the fact that in the past 2 games you had a power role and went on a first day voting spree  as a shield against suspicion.... I doubt you'd do it again as town since it got you killed night one both times ^^.

heh, 6 mafia would be overkill. Generally there is a 3-1 (town-scum) so 16 people would mean probably 4 mafia, 5 by a long shot, and more likely 3. 6 mafia would be WAY overstacked for them. With 6, two mislynches would send us right into the end game.

Anyways, I think wasted first days are very scummy. Scum are the ones that want no day kills and all night kills. Also, (and I'm going off memory so I could be very wrong) prior to my taking a break, day 1 lynches were not harmful to our chances of winning.

This is absolutely incorrect, Scum do not want no day kills,  they want mislynches.  They want as many kills to thin out the numbers of the town as possible.   And randomly voting for someone on the first day is a quick way of helping them with that.

Not entirely true.

Scum want mislynches, but they also don't want to be associated with a mislynch.

Random voting on the first day doesn't guarantee a lynch without mafia truly helping out, because frankly, anyone that gets lynched due to random voting doesn't deserve to be playing. Bandwagons are needed for that, not random votes.
