ROFL

Seems like todays hardcorz are not hardcore enough for the casual games of the past.

It was the time when gaming was just hardcore-gaming and not these wanna-be-hardcorz-COD kids.

I loved the game and no REAL GAMER would call that milestone "a worthless piece of shit"!

Sorry dude, but you just discredited yourself with that frustation-thread.

So real gamer = gamer who likes nintendo games?

I'd say if there is such a thing as a 'real gamer', it'd be someone who could respect a masterpiece like SMB3 for what it is, even if they don't necessarily like it....

Anyone got a 48 hour trial, ill love you longtime if you pm me it :3

Playing mario 3 was  immersive ,hard but not repetitive.  It was hardcore and tested your skills but never got frustrating to me.  I still play it and love it

I can't fathom the op but i guess to each his own.

By the way is it possible to lose in a modern game?

Oh man, I wish I could see you play Super Ghouls and Goblins, I really do. That would be an even more epic (and much, much more lame) rant XD

He wouldn't last five minutes.

No, seriously, he really wouldn't.

And you wouldnt last a second on Hardocre team deathmatch on Black ops, or on barebones team tactics, especially on Nuketown map

It was a nice rant until you threw in the Jap comments.  That was pretty low.  I'm an American who can beat the game in about 17 minutes without dying and I think the world record is a couple minutes faster than that.  It's pretty much the perfect platformer.  I wonder if you can beat Mega Man 1, 2, 9, or 10, or Donkey Kong Country, Sonic 2, or Contra.  You might just ... ya know, not be any good at platformers?

Its true. All of their ''challenging '' games require perfection in its genre. You need to be extremly good at  hack n' slash to complete DMC3, and you need to be a Jesus of action RPGs to complete Demon souls. For platformers see OP. i'd much rather play and easy game and have fun (Assasins Creed, Call of Duty) than a really hard game and have a bad time. And i did 100% walktrought on Crash Bandicoot 2, so im not bad at platformers

I don't think SMB3 is hard as a platformer at all.

But you're right.
