SUMMARY

Sonic 4 had its problems, but at least it was an improvement. Sonic Colors feels like a step right back into the same crap this series has drowned in for the past decade. If I had to pick a color for this game, it would be brown, for very obvious reasons.

Now, on this instance I've been fortunate enough to get this game in Europe, and I have to say I wholeheartedly disagree with this review! It's my favourite sonci game (beating Sonic 3 and Knuckles in my eyes), and it plays like a dream.

It FEELS like a Sonic game should feel, fast-paced, exciting, and downright fun. I've played this game for 5 hours in 2 days and am only halfway, but I never felt I failed because of cheap deaths or because of a rubbish control scheme. The control scheme is fine, little "waggling" involved. 

The wisps are a great new addition-if you don't like them, don't use them!

Finally, this game looks and sounds great. The scenery flashes by at ful speed whilst you hear qwerky comeents from Dr. Robotnik about his theme game, very funny, just like the cutscenes. 

Bottom line is, if you liked Sonic's previous outings, you'l be glad to hear he's returned to his heyday with style. Welcome back Sonic, it's ben too long...

However, yes this review is made by an idiot. Usually I am impartial with his reviews, but I couldn't let it lie in this case...

I didn't played, but I've watched a live demo of it being played at my front and I was not impressed to be honest.

I'm digging much more Sonic 4 from Wiiware.

I played the game a few times at E3 and even then it felt like one of the best Sonic games in a decade.
