Actually, I was reading that GT5 FINALLY has a firm release date! I just hope it doesn't get paned at critics because of the obseen hype which has building around it since approximately 3 seconds after the big bang...

After so many years in development, I'm thinking how can it not get GOTY. 

Though racing games never fare well in GOTY awards.

My worry is that people will think soo highly of it, when it comes out to be good (roughly 90%) then it won't be god enough so the reviews will get hit and then it won't sell. A similar thing happened to The Conduit, but on a much smaller scale...
